Trina co-founded FIGS in 2013 and serves as our Chief Executive Officer and as a member of our Board.

FIGS is a digitally native, DTC healthcare apparel and lifestyle brand creating technically advanced products for the modern healthcare professional. FIGS has revolutionized the large and fragmented healthcare apparel industry by branding a previously unbranded industry and de-commoditizing a previously commoditized product. Under Trina’s leadership, FIGS has created premium products for healthcare professionals, introduced a convenient and seamless DTC online platform, and built a community around a profession.

Trina’s accolades include being named in Goldman Sachs’ 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs (2018 & 2019); Endeavor Entrepreneur (Endeavor, 2015); and Entrepreneur of the Year (Ernst & Young, Los Angeles Region, 2018). Her article “Transforming the Healthcare Experience: Doctors, Nurses, Patients, and Beyond,” was published in the Journal of the American College of Radiology in 2017. Additionally, under Trina’s leadership, FIGS was ranked Number 21 on Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing companies in 2018.

Since February 2024, Trina has also served as a member of the board of directors of Amer Sports, Inc., a global group of sports and outdoor brands, including Arc’teryx, Salomon and Wilson. 

Prior to co-founding FIGS, Trina was as an associate at the Blackstone Group Inc., a leading global alternative investment business, in the firm’s hedge fund group. She began her career at Citigroup Global Markets Inc., where she spent four years in its investment banking and private equity divisions. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Tufts University, graduating magna cum laude, and she completed her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. She was also selected to join the Aspen Institute’s Henry Crown Fellows in 2018.

Heather co-founded FIGS in 2013 and serves as the Executive Chair of our Board. Heather previously served as our Co-Chief Executive Officer until August 2022.

Under Heather’s leadership as a multi-disciplined entrepreneur, FIGS has reimagined scrubs, created premium products for healthcare professionals, introduced a convenient and seamless DTC online platform, and built a community around a profession.

Heather’s accolades include being named in 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs (Goldman Sachs, 2018 & 2019); Endeavor Entrepreneur (Endeavor, 2015); Entrepreneur of the Year (Ernst & Young, Los Angeles Region, 2018); Forward under 40 Award (UW-Madison, 2011); Innovation Award (RxArt Foundation, 2019); and Top 100 Female Founders (Inc. Heather currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the board of directors of OOG, Inc., a healthcare education technology company. Prior to co-founding FIGS, Ms. Hasson was an entrepreneur, having served as founder and CEO of Heather Hasson bags, a high-end bag line, and FIGS Ties, a tie and scarf company. Heather received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Sarah has served as FIGS’ CFO since August 2024. Sarah leads all aspects of finance, including FP&A and accounting, and also leads data analytics.

Prior to FIGS, Sarah spent almost 17 years at lululemon athletica inc, where she served in finance leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) since 2021. In that role, Sarah led a global team of over 100 finance team members, served as a key partner to the Senior Executive Team, drove the financial component of strategic and operational planning, and led the company’s annual and quarterly financial planning and earnings processes. Over her tenure at lululemon, Sarah played a pivotal role in increasing net revenues from $270 million to approximately $10 billion, scaling its retail footprint from less than 50 stores to over 700, and expanding its international footprint from North America-only to over 25 countries globally.

Prior to lululemon, Sarah spent three years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the audit and assurance practice, where she planned and executed audit and review engagements for both public and private companies within the consumer products and services sector. She received her Bachelor’s of Commerce from the University of Victoria in 2003 and her Master’s of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan in 2005. She also holds a Chartered Professional Accountant designation in Canada.
